Check your child’s development free, then help them at home
Grow is a free child development check and a set of step-by-step home programs, for parents anywhere. Two minutes tells you whether your child looks on track for their age in talking, movement, behaviour, attention, learning or sensory needs. Whatever the result, you get a plain-language explanation and something you can do at home tomorrow morning. Nobody knows your child better than you do, and that makes you the best person to help them.

What does the free child development check actually tell you?
The free check compares what your child does today with typical milestones for their age, then gives you one of three results: looking on track, worth keeping an eye on, or worth a closer look. It is a screener, not a diagnosis, and every result comes with a free home program you can start the same day.
The questions are plain-language milestone items grouped into age bands, informed by public guidance including the CDC’s “Learn the Signs. Act Early.” milestones and ASHA’s developmental norms. Checks cover roughly nine months to seven years, depending on the area. A result is never a label. Re-checking after a few weeks of steady practice often tells you more than the first check did. If you would rather read the background than answer questions, our guide to how children’s development usually unfolds covers the same ground in plain prose.

Pick any area that’s on your mind. Take the free check to see where your child is, then work through the home program together, and read up on it whenever you like. Plenty of children have more than one thing going on (meltdowns and trouble sitting still often travel together, for instance), so do check as many areas as you need.

Not sure where to start?
Start with the whole-child check, or follow the stage-by-stage curriculum. Either way, we’ll walk you through it.
Already have a diagnosis (like autism or Down syndrome)? You can skip the checks — open your child’s condition guide for what it means and a home program to start, and follow the curriculum at your child’s own pace. If the diagnosis only came through recently, what to do in the first few weeks is written for exactly that moment.
Don’t see your concern here? We help with much more too — including bedwetting, tics, selective mutism and more. Search our guides or message us and we’ll point you the right way.
Some of the hardest parts of this are not on any checklist. For the supermarket meltdown, the refused haircut and the bedtime that takes two hours, read how to handle common situations. For the evenings when you have run out of patience with yourself, a few little reminders help more than another program does. And if there are brothers and sisters at home quietly wondering why one child gets all the attention, supporting siblings is written for them.

Everything is free to keep
Every one of the 23 home programs comes with a PDF you can download, print and keep, alongside milestone checklists, activities and a full curriculum.
Questions parents ask before they start
Is Grow really free, and do I need to sign up?
Yes, everything on Grow is free and there is no sign-up. The checks, the results, the home programs, the printable PDFs, the milestone checklists and the progress tracking are open to any parent, anywhere in the world. You never need to contact us or pay to use any of it, and nothing is held back behind a form.
Is a Grow check a diagnosis?
No. Grow is an educational screener built on public milestone guidance, not an assessment and not a diagnosis. It can tell you whether your child looks on track for their age and what to practise at home. Only a qualified professional who sees your child can diagnose anything, and a check is never a reason to delay that.
What age is Grow for?
The checks cover roughly nine months to seven years, and each area has its own age bands, so you answer questions written for your child’s stage rather than one generic list. The home programs work across that whole range. If your child is older, the programs are still useful — work at the stage your child is actually at, not at their birthday age.
The check said “worth a closer look”. What should I do now?
Start the matching home program the same week. It costs nothing and it gives you something useful to do straight away. Then arrange for someone qualified to see your child in person: a speech and language therapist, a paediatrician, or your local early-intervention service. A screener can flag a pattern; a professional who watches your child play works out why it is there.
Can I use Grow if my child already has a diagnosis?
Yes. You can skip the checks entirely and go straight to the home programs and the curriculum. Read the guide for your child’s condition to understand what it means day to day, then pick one program and work at your child’s own pace. Many parents use Grow alongside the therapy their child already receives, rather than instead of it.
Where is my child’s information stored?
Everything you enter — your child’s name, age, check results and progress — stays in your own browser on your own device by default. There is no account and we do not see it. If you choose to turn on backup, your data is encrypted with a code only you hold before it leaves your device, and you can delete that backup at any time.
Is Grow available in Urdu?
Grow is written in English, and several of the home programs carry a short Urdu quick-start box with the same ideas in a few plain sentences you can read on the spot. If you would rather ask your question in Urdu or Roman Urdu, message us and we will answer in the language you are most comfortable with.
Questions about assessments, therapy sessions and how our centre works are answered on our frequently asked questions page.
Back up & sync across devices
Your progress lives privately on this device. Turn on backup and we’ll keep a copy that follows you to your other phones and computers, so nothing’s lost if you clear your browser. It’s locked with your own secret code, so we can’t read it, and it’s entirely up to you.

Grow is a warm, educational space built on standard, research-based practice. It’s a screener and a guide, not a diagnosis, and it’s never a substitute for seeing someone in person.
