How it works

Your child’s journey, step by step

We’ve made the path from first worry to real progress as clear and gentle as possible — for your child and for you.

  1. 01

    Reach out

Reaching out is the hardest step — and you’ve as good as taken it just by being here. Call, text or WhatsApp us and tell us what you’ve noticed. There’s no judgement and no obligation; we simply listen, answer your questions and, if it makes sense, arrange a time to meet your child.

  2. 02

    Assessment

During the assessment, we gently observe and explore your child’s speech, play, movement, behaviour and learning. It’s relaxed and play-based, so your child feels comfortable. We also ask about their history and your concerns, because you know your child best.

  3. 03

    Personalised plan

Next, we put together a personalised plan: what we’ll work on, the goals, the type and frequency of therapy, and what you can do at home. We explain it all in plain language — no jargon — so you feel fully informed and in control.

  4. 04

    Therapy & progress

Then the real work (and fun) begins. Sessions are warm, playful and one-on-one. We track progress carefully, celebrate every win, review the plan regularly, and coach you so the gains continue between sessions and at home.

FAQ

Questions about getting started

Do I need a doctor’s referral to come?

No. You can contact us directly. If we ever feel your child would benefit from input from a doctor or other specialist, we’ll tell you and help you take that step.

How often will my child need sessions?

It depends on your child’s needs and goals, which we determine at the assessment. We’ll always recommend what genuinely helps, and discuss a schedule that works for your family.

Can I stay with my child during sessions?

We’ll discuss what’s best for your child. Often parents are involved so they can learn the strategies; sometimes children settle better with a little independence. Either way, you’re always kept fully informed.

What should I bring to the first visit?

Just yourselves, and anything that helps tell your child’s story — for example notes on milestones, any previous reports, or a favourite comfort toy for your child. We’ll guide you when you book.
