From your doorway

Online ABA and parent coaching

Online behaviour work is usually coaching you through the routine that fails — the door, the shoes, the homework table — not a child performing ABA on camera for a stranger.

What travels well

ABC coaching. A replacement ask. A first-then board. Consistency between two adults. Urdu or English, Pakistan time 2pm–6pm weekdays. Gulf afternoons fit. Worldwide. Complementary to local services, not a local licence.

A consultation is Rs 1,500 and lasts up to 50 minutes.

What does not

A child who is not safe. A behaviour we must see in the room. Hands-on work. We say so. Keep your local referral. Tell them you are coaching with us.

What to have on the call

A clip of the doorway or the homework war. The child does not have to perform the worst behaviour live. Online therapy, behaviour coaching. Safety: a doctor or crisis service first if someone is being hurt.

The idea behind the work (in the books)

Parent coaching for behaviour transfers to video. A hands-on function we cannot see, or a safety crisis, does not.

  • Kazdin — the parent delivers the consequence

That is why coaching on a call can work. We watch the routine that fails in your house.

  • Cheng 2023 — parent-implemented

Moderate overall effects. You still have to run the two responses between calls.

These are teaching ideas, named so you can look them up. Naming a book is not a claim that we run a certified programme of that name — if we do not, the page says so.

What the research tells us

This isn’t just our opinion — it’s grounded in published research. Here are a few findings from trusted, independent sources:

  • Cheng and colleagues (2023) meta-analysed parent-implemented interventions. Overall benefits were moderate; adaptive behaviour and life-skills effects were the smallest. Coaching helps. It is not a guarantee of independence.

  • NICE CG170 recommends a play-based social-communication intervention with parents, carers and teachers to increase joint attention, engagement and reciprocal communication, adjusted to the child’s developmental level. For pre-school children it recommends parent mediation.

FAQ

Online — questions parents ask

Does the child have to sit on Zoom?

No. For coaching, you are the student. A clip of the doorway is gold.

Do you have a branch in my city?

No. One centre, Model Town, Multan.

Is this a BCBA online?

No. We do not claim that title.

What if they are aggressive on the call?

Safety first. We stop the teaching and sort the environment. If anyone is getting hurt, that is local emergency care, not our next video slot.

Do you have a clinic in my city?

No. One centre, Model Town, Multan. Online is the same team on video.
