Online child psychology and parent guidance
Online psychology is live video from Multan: you, sometimes your child, a plan for the house. It is not a prescription, not a crisis service, and not a clinic in your city.
Written by the Inclusive Developmental and Therapy Center therapy team — our Speech & Language Therapist, psychology and ABA staff. This page is awaiting its clinical review.
What travels
Anxiety in the house. School-gate plans. Two adults using two scripts. Parent guidance in Urdu or English. Families abroad keep their local GP, paediatrician and school pathway. Worldwide.
A consultation is Rs 1,500 and lasts up to 50 minutes. Complementary. Not an EHCP psychologist. Not emergency care — if someone is unsafe, local emergency services, not our next slot.
What does not
Prescribing. A statutory diagnostic assessment for a foreign system. A child in immediate danger. We name those doors rather than stretching video past what it can do.
When video is the wrong tool
Safety worries that need a room, a child who shuts down on screen, a first assessment that needs play we cannot see. We say so. Online therapy.
Who needs to be on camera
Older children can talk on video. A five-year-old often cannot, and should not be asked to perform feelings for a laptop. Then we coach you. Safety worries that need a room, or a child who shuts down on screen, are a reason to travel or to start with parent coaching instead.
Confidentiality holds on a call, with the same safety exception. Complementary to local paediatrics. Not a prescribing service — Salman does not prescribe. If a psychiatrist is the next step, we say so. Online therapy, second opinion.
The idea behind the work (in the books)
Older children can talk on video. Younger children need you on camera more than they need to sit on it.
Kendall — CBT steps on a call
One coping step, practised, reviewed next time. Works when the child will talk. Not a first hour with a silent five-year-old.
Bowlby — you are the base on the call
For a young child we coach you. The child does not have to perform feelings for the camera.
What the research tells us
This isn’t just our opinion — it’s grounded in published research. Here are a few findings from trusted, independent sources:
A Cochrane review of 87 studies found that CBT for childhood anxiety leaves far more children free of their main anxiety diagnosis than a waiting list: around 49 in 100 after CBT, versus around 18 in 100 with no treatment (moderate-quality evidence).

Feelings chart
Name the feeling before you fix it.
Calm-down plan
A short sequence for after a flood, not a lecture in the middle of one.
Big-feelings program (PDF)
Name it, then one coping step.
Book a consultation
Contact owner Muhammad Salman Afzal first. No referral needed. A consultation is Rs 1,500 and lasts up to 50 minutes.
Online — questions parents ask
Can he prescribe online?
No. He does not prescribe in the room either.
Does my child have to speak on camera?
No. Many first calls are parent guidance. Play and talk come when they are ready.
Branch in my city?
No. Model Town, Multan.
Is this a substitute for CAMHS / a local psychologist?
No. Keep that place. We can coach while you wait, and we will not compete with a service that can prescribe or assess under your law.
Is counselling confidential online?
Yes, with the same safety exception. We will tell you what stays between your child and the psychologist and what we will always bring to you.
