Online life-skills coaching
Online life-skills work is the sock, the lunch box, the toilet routine in your bathroom — coached live, in small steps, not a lecture about independence.
Written by the Inclusive Developmental and Therapy Center therapy team — our Speech & Language Therapist, psychology and ABA staff. This page is awaiting its clinical review.
What video is genuinely good for
Dressing order. A spoon. Packing a bag. A toilet step that is stuck. You on camera, child can be off it. Pillar: life skills, teens: life skills for autistic teens.
A consultation is Rs 1,500 and lasts up to 50 minutes.
What we will not pretend
Medical toileting problems, pain, or a safety issue in the bathroom. Those are a doctor first. We will not coach past a medical wall.
How to start from another city or country
WhatsApp the child’s age, the worry, and your city. We reply in Urdu or English. Keep any local waiting-list place you already have. A consultation is Rs 1,500 and lasts up to 50 minutes. One centre: Model Town, Multan. No branch in your city.
What we will not fake on video
Hands-on motor assessment, a swallowing worry, a toilet we cannot see. We say so. Online therapy.
A clip of the fail is the assessment
The tidy child in our room is not the data. Film the morning, the toilet, the lunch box. We name the step. We cannot see a stall through a phone; if they need to be seen, we say so. Complementary to local services. No branch in your city.
Toilet training on video is coaching, not magic. Toilet-training program. Teens: life skills for teens. Online therapy.
The idea behind the work (in the books)
Video is useful when we watch the real routine on your phone. It is not a pretend kitchen.
Cheng 2023 — parent-implemented life skills
The smallest effects in the meta-analysis were adaptive behaviour. Online only works if you run the step between calls.
Task analysis on camera
A clip of the morning is worth more than a tidy child in our room. Film the fail, then we name the step.
What the research tells us
This isn’t just our opinion — it’s grounded in published research. Here are a few findings from trusted, independent sources:
Cheng and colleagues (2023) meta-analysed parent-implemented interventions. Overall benefits were moderate; adaptive behaviour and life-skills effects were the smallest. Coaching helps. It is not a guarantee of independence.

Online — questions parents ask
Do you have a clinic in my city?
No. One centre, MPS Road, Model Town, Multan. Online is the same team on video.
What do I need on the call?
A phone, a quiet-enough room, and the toy, snack or routine that usually fails. The child does not always have to sit on camera.
Will this replace local services?
No. Complementary. Not an EHCP, IEP or NDIS assessment, and not a licence in your country.
How much?
A consultation is Rs 1,500 and lasts up to 50 minutes, wherever you are. Ongoing fees are explained after we understand the plan.
Can you toilet-train on Zoom?
We can coach the steps. We cannot see the stall. If the child needs to be seen, we say so.
