What a parent-coaching session looks like
You stay in the room. We watch one routine — a meal, a wait, a bedtime — and change one prompt. The child does not have to perform. You do the practice.

The shape of the hour
You describe the routine that fails. We watch you try it. We change one thing. You run those two steps until the next time. Pillar: parent coaching.
Who can join
Grandparents and helpers. The person who spends the afternoon with your child should hear the same two strategies.
You stay. They do not have to perform.
For a young child we watch you. They can move around the room. If they will not come near the camera, we still work with you. That is the point of coaching versus a clinic hour the child has to sit through.
Grandparents and helpers should hear the same two strategies. Say who will be there when you book.
Two practices, then a review
Not twenty. The next session checks those two, not a new curriculum. Home programs are the menu: home programs. This hour is someone watching you cook.
One prompt, then you try it
You describe the routine that fails. We change one thing. You try it in the room. That is the hour. Pillar: parent coaching.
You try it live, we change one prompt
A course is slides. This hour is your child this week. Grandparents can join. Roman Urdu is fine: bacha bolta nahi. If we think the child needs to be seen, not only coached, we say so that day — hearing, motor, a flood we cannot coach past.
Late talkers: speech coaching. Behaviour: behaviour coaching. Online: online coaching. Home programs are the menu; this is someone watching you cook.
The idea behind the work (in the books)
Coaching is one adult showing another adult a prompt, then fading. Not a slide deck.
Bandura — social learning
People learn by watching someone do the thing, then trying it with a note. That is why we watch you live rather than post a leaflet.
Kazdin — Parent Management Training
The parent delivers the consequence, because that is where the behaviour lives. We use the idea, not a branded PMT course.
What the research tells us
This isn’t just our opinion — it’s grounded in published research. Here are a few findings from trusted, independent sources:
NICE CG170 recommends a play-based social-communication intervention with parents, carers and teachers to increase joint attention, engagement and reciprocal communication, adjusted to the child’s developmental level. For pre-school children it recommends parent mediation.
— NICE Clinical Guideline CG170 — Autism spectrum disorder in under 19s: support and management. View sourceCheng and colleagues (2023) meta-analysed parent-implemented interventions. Overall benefits were moderate; adaptive behaviour and life-skills effects were the smallest. Coaching helps. It is not a guarantee of independence.

Take a worksheet home
Print one sheet. Fill it in this week. Bring it to the consultation — a consultation is Rs 1,500 and lasts up to 50 minutes.
Home practice log
One skill, a few minutes, one line of what happened. Bring it next time.
First–then board
The hard moment, then the promised good thing — set out before the fight starts.
ABC behaviour record
What happened before, the behaviour, what happened after. A fortnight is enough.
Book a consultation
Contact owner Muhammad Salman Afzal first. No referral needed. A consultation is Rs 1,500 and lasts up to 50 minutes.
A session — questions parents ask
Does my child have to sit on the screen?
Not for coaching. They can move around. If they will not come near the camera, we still work with you.
Is this a parenting course?
No. A course is generic. This is your child this week.
How much is a coaching consultation?
Rs 1,500, up to 50 minutes, in person in Multan or online. Ongoing fees depend on the plan and are explained before you commit.
Is this counselling for me?
No. It is coaching on a specific prompt with your child. Feelings work sits with Salman when that is the wall.
